Lagos Fire Service & Nema Rescued 9 Persons From A Sinking House In Lagos State

The Lagos fire service says it rescued nine people from a sinking building in Lagos state.

According to the service, the building is situated at Akinyemi street, Akinwunmi Estate in Mende, Maryland area of the state.

Ibrahim Farinloye, Lagos coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), said officials of the service were deployed to the scene of the incident after receiving a distress call about the emergency.
