America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses company has stopped the sales of the ‘Sean John eyewear’ which was named after the music executive, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
According to TMZ, a representative confirmed that stores received instructions to remove the frames from display and replace them with other products, pending further directives.
This move follows the public backlash after a video surfaced online showing Diddy assaulting his then girlfriend, Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway.
A US-based exercise equipment and fitness media company, Peloton had also recently paused the use of all Sean Combs’ music and discontinued their Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series.
This decision, announced on their official Facebook page, means instructors will no longer use his music in new classes. The move came after a member’s request following the video’s release.
Lawsuits against Diddy continue to pile up, with a new accuser claiming he raped her multiple times and is being repped by the same lawyer as Rodney Jones and Liza Gardner.
