10 Killed in Mass Shooting At Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, British Columbia, Canada

Ten people, including the suspected gunman, have been confirmed dead following a mass shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School and a nearby home in British Columbia.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said six victims were found inside the school, while another died on the way to hospital. Two more bodies were discovered at a residence believed to be connected to the attack. The suspected shooter was also found dead with what police described as a “self-inflicted injury.”

According to the police, two individuals were airlifted to hospital with serious or life-threatening injuries, and about 25 others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local medical centre. All remaining students and staff were safely evacuated.

Police described the situation as involving an “active shooter” and confirmed that investigations are ongoing. Authorities have not released details about the suspect’s identity, the victims, or the weapon used as the RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues its probe.
